| Description | Red, high-strength, medium-viscosity, methacrylate-based threadlocker with high temperature resistance. loctite® 272 is a red, medium-viscosity, methacrylate-based threadlocker for high-strength joints. It achieves hand strength in 10 minutes on steel, 5 minutes on brass and 15 minutes on stainless steel, making it ideal suitable for applications where adhesive migration must be avoided at all costs. Tolerates minor oily contamination from industrial oils. Suitable for all threaded metal connections. Breakaway torque on M10 bolts: 23 Nm. |
